Dynasty Warriors M is an action RPG and a spin-off of the popular Dynasty Warriors series. It's a free-to-play game including microtransactions, developed by Nexon.
Like the main installments, Dynasty Warriors M is set in a world inspired by the Tales of the Three Kingdoms. The story revolves around the civil war that took place in China at the turn of the 2nd and 3rd century. We play as officers, taking part in large-scale battles. Alongside fictional skirmishes, the game also portrays historical events, such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion or the Battle of Luoyang.
Mechanics-wise, Dynasty Warriors M is heavily reminiscent of the main games. The game makes use of the third-person perspective. Its vast map is divided into diverse regions, where there are hundreds of battles to take part in. The player must choose a faction, one of its officers and take on hundreds of enemies at once, conquering castles and gathering loot. Aside from regular weapons, we can also use supernatural, powerful abilities. As we progress through the game, we develop our characters into killing machines.
Dynasty Warriors M features high-quality visuals, retaining the main games' artstyle.
