A standalone expansion to Eador. Masters of the Broken World by Snowbird studio, which is a combination of a grand strategy and a turn-based tactic game, supplemented with RPG elements. The game again takes us to the world known from the former parts of the series, a realm torn to pieces that are scattered around the galaxy, and your objective is to unite it under your reign. Eador. Imperium is a standalone extension to Mount & Blade franchise.
The plot in Eador. Imperium is set in the universe known from the two former parts of the production by Snowbird Games. Once again the title takes us to the world torn to pieces scattered around the whole galaxy. Players are in control of heroes who are in the forefront of their fractions which are trying to unite the world under their reign, and eliminate enemies who have the same purpose.
Gameplay in Eador. Imperium makes use of well-known elements from the original title and a number of new ones, which make the game more attractive. The title offers the full content of Eador. Masters of the Broken World and a new scenario which introduces Shard – an unknown winter world, and about 30 new units and heroes unavailable before, such as Legate, Lich, Sorcerer, and Pilot, each a bit different in playing style. The game features a refreshed tactic map and new mechanics.
Eador. Imperium does not introduce dramatic changes in visuals. The title utilises high quality graphics, seen in the original title, with detailed buildings and well-designed characters.
