Eisenbahn.exe Professional 12 is the twelfth installment of a series of advanced railway simulators, whose roots date back to the 1990s. The production was released on PC, and the German studio Trend Verlag is responsible for its creation. Unlike its predecessors, the title is available in English.

Mechanics

In Eisenbahn.exe Professional 12 the player takes on the role of a driver, following the routes at the controls of a selected train. An impressive number of 40,000 three-dimensional models, including popular types of locomotives and cars, as well as railway infrastructure elements, including tracks, buildings and semaphores, are available in an integrated shop.

The unquestionable advantage of this game is the high level of realism. Each train has a faithfully reproduced three-dimensional cockpit, and travel must be carried out not only in accordance with traffic-controlled signalling, but also with safety rules - there are often animals on the rails and the journeys are accompanied by road, air and sea traffic. In addition, the game implements a dynamic cycle of day and night and changing weather conditions, such as rain and snowfall, fog or storms.
