Eisenbahn.exe Professional 8.0 is a game addressed to a rather small group of recipients. It will surely appeal to train enthusiasts and all those who loved to play with a toy train in their childhood.

As befits a simulator, this production is focused primarily on the realism of the game. Much attention has been paid to a refined driving model that takes into elements such as physical laws and weather conditions. A special engine that can dynamically generate rain, snow, lightning or fog is responsible for weather display. By using this system, weather conditions can change during the journey, forcing the player to adjust the way the train is driven.

The sound system of the game also deserves attention. For this purpose, the creators recorded hundreds of sounds emitted by authentic trains. And during railway excursions we can hear the characteristic clatter of the wheels, the sound of the steam coming out of the chimney or the squeal of the braking locomotive.

Eisenbahn.exe Professional 8.0 is not only a train driving simulator. The game includes an extensive editor that allows you to create your own routes. More than 4500 models of various objects such as locomotives, signals, buildings, landscape elements, cars, airplanes and other vehicles are at our disposal. If the kit is not enough for someone, they can create their own models and place them in the game. Thanks to all these functions it is possible to create entire landscapes consisting of towns, fields, forests and, of course, railway routes with all the necessary elements.

Such a prepared location can be freely explored with the use of the model of train chosen by the player. We observe the world both from inside the driver's cab and with a free camera suspended above the vehicle.

Eisenbahn.exe Professional 8.0 was released in two versions, standard and expert. The latter has been enriched, among other things, with an improved graphical engine that regulates the light intensity according to the prevailing cloudiness and time of day, or a more realistic control model that takes into , for example, the air pressure around the train.
