The game takes you to the streets of the small American city of Mountain Valley, whose streets have been flooded by a growing wave of crime. As a freshly baked policeman, we sit behind the wheel of a radio car to taste the various aspects of the daily life of a law enforcement officer. From setting up speed cameras and carrying out routine roadside checks, to chasing criminals and traffic pirates, to complex investigations of the most dangerous criminals, there are many challenges ahead of us in the course of our service.
In career mode, we face more than 200 different challenges, whose degree of difficulty and complexity increases with the advancement in the police hierarchy. Presented in the third person perspective, the action of the game is set in an open world, where we can move freely - both on foot and in a radio wagon. Every day at work, we are faced with many "surprises", such as assaults, burglaries and robberies, which require immediate intervention. The city lives its own life, and its citizens can be suspicious and may have valuable information for us. We can therefore question, search and, if necessary, arrest any of the characters we come across. However, we must bear in mind that exceeding the powers or unjustified detention may have official consequences.
A peculiar curiosity is the fact that the game focuses not only on everyday service, but also on the private life of officers. After an 8-hour shift, we can devote ourselves unhindered to various activities aimed at stress relieving our hero and providing him with appropriate entertainment. The money earned in the police can be invested in the house by successively buying more and more items of equipment (e.g. televisions, furniture, refrigerators, carpets, etc.). We can also buy a dream private car and move around the streets of our city in our free time.
Despite the complexity of the game, Enforcer: Police Crime Action was made in a typically budget style, and the graphic design looks quite average. The lights and police lights of Mountain Valley look pretty good, but the detail of the models and the character animation leave a lot to be desired.
