Euro Truck Simulator 2: Italia for PC is the fourth expansion pack to the Euro Truck Simulator. The core game debuted in 2012 and was developed by the Czech studio SCS Software. The same studio created this expansion pack.
Euro Truck Simulator 2: Italia for PC doesn’t introduce any changes to the gameplay mechanics of the original game. The developers focused on expanding the Italian territory, which was present in Euro Truck Simulator 2, but only in a very limited form. The expansion greatly improves this area by offering a detailed map that is much more faithful to reality. During the game the player can visit much more cities and industrial areas and he or she can observe unique sights that make the travel through Italian roads much more enjoyable.
Similarly to the mechanics, the technical aspects of Euro Truck Simulator 2: Italia for PC don’t differ from those from the basic Euro Truck Simulator 2. The developers faithfully recreated the specifics of the region by creating replicas of actual cities and even villages. The expansion requires the basic version of the game to work. However, some of the novelties were published as a free update.
