Europa Universalis III: The Divine Wind

The Divine Wind is another, fourth extension to the third part of the popular, yet complex and acclaimed series of historical strategies Europa Universalis. As in other cycle games, we sit on the throne of one of the hundreds of countries and control its actions on a strategic level - from diplomacy and trade to military. The game combines special fidelity to historical realities with huge possibilities of reversing the course of history.

The add-on does not change the timeframe of events in relation to the basic game, so we are thrown back into the historical reality of the years 1453 - 1789. This time the action takes place mainly in the Far East, whose reality is reflected in the game. A special role in the governance of China or Japan, for example, is played by the internal instability of both states - in the latter case we start as one of the four daymoes, and our aim is to gain influence at the imperial court and take control of the Shogunat.
