Multiplayer-focused space simulator set in a fictional universe created by Crowd Control Productions (C Games) for their MMO title, EVE Online. This game is set in the distant future, long after humans living in the New Eden solar system get separated from the rest of the universe because of the collapse of a wormhole leading back to the Milky Way.
EVE: Valkyrie for PC and PS4 is a space flight simulator set in the same universe as EVE Online and DUST 514. All three titles were developed by C Games.
EVE: Valkyrie for PC and PS4 is set in the distant future where humans have manged to colonize countless planets. The story is set in a star system called New Eden, which used to be connected with the Milky Way by a wormhole thousands of years ago. The gate’s collapse, however, separated the local residents from the rest of humanity, forcing them to create self-sufficient communities. Ultimately, they split into five major factions that started competing for resources and space for development. Sometimes the rivalry goes without bloodshed, but most of the time disputes are resolved by force.
The game focuses on online multiplayer space combat. Players get inside the cockpits of fighters known from EVE Online, but the gameplay here is unlike anything we could experience in the MMO rendition. The result of fighting is determined not by statistics of characters involved, but by the players’ skills alone, and the battles themselves are of smaller scale.
EVE: Valkyrie s virtual reality headsets (like Oculus Rift), which enhance the immersion in space battles.
