EverQuest II: Desert of Flames, the first Expansion Pack for EverQuest II, is set within an Arabian Nights theme. It builds upon familiar EverQuest lore, and takes place within the Deserts of Ro and its city, Maj'Dul. This Expansion Pack is designed to introduce new and exciting game features along with enhancing and improving existing mechanics.

Desert of Flames has content for soloers, small groups, groups, and raids levels 45 to 60. The level cap for bother Adventurers and Artisans is being increased to 60 in this expansion. For those who would like to participate in Arena Champions, the player-versus-player combat in Desert of Flames, you can enjoy this feature at any adventure or artisan level.
