Everything is a generator of worlds – after being created, these worlds can then be watched from different perspectives. This is a work of an independent developer David O’Reilly, released for PC and PS4, among other platforms. The source of inspiration for Everything’s author was the philosophy of Alan Watts, whose lectures can be listened to in the game.

Mechancis

Worlds featured in Everything can be observed from both micro and macro scale. You start playing in a particular place of a procedurally generated world, but the rest is completely up to you – you are free to take control of a single atom, animal, or building, and focus on its immediate whereabouts, or take a step upwards and control an entire planet, star or even galaxy. Gameplay has no specific goal – what you do and why is totally your choice.
