A combination of a tactical strategy game with an action fantasy RPG. The game was developed by Nival Studios. The player assumes the role of Zak, a man who starts a journey through unknown, magic realms. The protagonist encounters plenty of fantasy characters, creatures, items and spells. The game features very nice graphics and a multiplayer for up to six players.
Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul is a cRPG, that combines traits of a classic RPG and tactical strategy game. It enables the players to control a single protagonist or a small group and live through a wonderful adventure. Each member of the team features individual parameters and the victory against the opponents is achieved by properly utilizing these parameters and using good strategy. The game features a long story with a mystery to solve. It includes many characters with unique ambitions – each of them can become player’s friend or foe.
The player assumes the role of Zak, a man who starts his life anew in order to find his destiny and true love. During the adventure through unknown realms he encounters: friendship and betrayal, fascination and disgust, calm animals and terrifying monsters, princesses and beggars and groups of weird creatures. He must perfectly learn combat skills, how to keep calm, discover the secrets of high magic and learn how to listen and how to lead. All of that in order to survive and reach the goals.
Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul features twenty large areas to explore. During the adventure, the players can complete 80 quests that create a non-linear story. The players will face more than 120 types of monsters and beasts and encounter varied inhabitants of the world that belong to different cultures. The unique skills and attribute system features 100 individual traits and the possibility to create unique spells, weapons and armor.
Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul is powered by a fully three-dimensional engine that can generate 30,000 polygons per a single animation frame. The nice looking and detailed graphics feature wind creating waves on water, a day and night cycle and a unique set of animations for each character and monster. How the units look can change depending on their attributes and equipment.

Forgotten in Astrale is a subtitle of a stand-alone addition to Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul, a well received by players position of the cRPG genre with elements of strategy. Behind the plug-in is a group of enthusiasts of the original version of the game, gathered in the Matilda Entertainment development studio, who in the final phase of the project received from Nival Interactive, producers of Evil Islands.
