An arcade and adventure game in which we travel through alien planets on board a spaceship. The Exo One takes the form of a sphere or a flying disc, and skillfully juggling these forms allows you to move quickly and smoothly through vast maps.
Exo One is an arcade game with adventure game elements, in which the player takes on the role of the pilot of a futuristic spacecraft. The game was developed by an independent Exbleative studio and was made possible, among other things, by a successful crowdfunding on Kickstarter.
The story presented in Exo One begins at the beginning of the 21st century, when humanity received a mysterious signal from the interstellar void. On the basis of the information contained therein, a spacecraft was prepared. During one of the routine Exo One tests, as this is the name of the unit, his pilot accidentally opened a wormhole and went to an unknown corner of the Universe. During the game, we accompany him in his quest for the ruins of an alien civilization. A different perspective on our adventures is provided by the story of a narrator - a historian who tells us thousands of years later about the first man's journey outside the Solar System.
In Exo One the action was shown from the third person perspective (TPP). Twelve procedurally generated worlds are waiting to be visited; we are talking about various exoplanets, among which we can find both rocky earth-type algae and celestial bodies consisting mainly of water and gas giants. We travel on board the title ship operating on the basis of technology that allows it to change shape and manipulate gravity. In the form of a flying disc, the unit floats in the air and in a way "slides" on the surface of the clouds, while after transformation into a ball it rolls on the slopes, thus gaining speed. Skilful use of the possibilities of changing the form of the vessel allows for smooth and fast movement on maps.
The graphic design of the game Exo One is particularly impressive for the fantastic landscapes we ire on the planets we visit, as well as the realistic animated water and dynamic lighting. The fun goes on to the accompaniment of the soundtrack, which consists of guitar and ambient sounds.

Game Ratings for Exo One Video Game.
WayTooManyGames: 7.5 / 10 by Leonardo Faria
I have to commend Exo One for giving me a control scheme and a physics system which were entertaining enough to keep me engaged, despite its pretentious nature and boring plot. Can’t say I cared about its plot, characters, or twists. I was having a lot of fun with its gameplay, and was also constantly wowed by its absolutely gorgeous visuals. Recommending it is a completely different story, though.
KeenGamer: 9 / 10 by Luis Cano
Exo One is a notably well-crafted audiovisual journey that is quite enjoyable to simply play through. While the story is lackluster and can even sometimes get in the way of the real joy of actually playing the game, it still adds some degree of depth and direction. Still, the game could do with an option to skip the story all-together and a level selection option after beating it to go back to your favorite planets. Leaving the story aside, flying through the different planets alongside your alien craft is quite an experience on Exo One. Headphones recommended.
TheSixthAxis: 8 / 10 by Thomas Hughes
Exo One is an enjoyable other-world experience that challenges players with the mastery of an alien spacecraft. Tight controls and great physics more than make up for the odd repetitive spot, making Exo One an absolute must for anyone with an Xbox Game subscription. Even without one, I’d still recommend picking it up.
