The Fantastic Journey of Uncle Albert is the second installment of the production designed for young computer s, in which, while playing, children companions and helps in solving tasks, the title uncle Albert (in this character played the famous actor Henryk Machalica). This time the twisted old man takes the children on a fascinating journey around the world, full of surprises and surprising twists and turns.
This production takes young travellers to the farthest corners of the world, i.e. Istanbul, Zanzibar, Borneo or Amazonia. The programme includes various means of transport, such as planes, sailing ships, motorboats and even submarines. During long journeys, toddlers will encounter various obstacles and challenges, such as mischievous crabs, dangerous crocodiles or carnivorous plants, and a number of friendly creatures, such as battleships, toads, caterpillars and peppers.
Like the previous installment of the program (Uncle Albert's Magic Albert's album), the whole gameplay has been constructed in such a way that it fulfils two functions: to have fun and to teach at the same time. While playing, children gather and consolidate knowledge in a variety of areas useful in life, e.g. by travelling through time zones, they learn how to read latitudes and longitudes. In addition, the game develops the sense of observation, dexterity and creativity.
As far as graphics are concerned, the whole is presented in a three-dimensional visual setting. In addition, the gameplay has been enriched with appropriate music and films, and an additional advantage of the program is its non-linear storyline, thanks to which the can finish the game in many ways.
