Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds is the fourth major expansion for Far Cry 6, featuring roguelike elements. In it, we find ourselves in a world torn by rifts, full of oddities and dangerous enemies, including shardfaces.
Lost Between Worlds is the fourth major expansion for Far Cry 6. Although it does not follow the theme of the first three DLC, in which we explored the twisted minds of antagonists from the previous installments of the series, it shares roguelite gameplay with them. In this expansion, we take on the role of a character from the main game, but the plot is not connected to the events of the main storyline. The series was produced and published by Ubisoft. The add-on is not a standalone and requires the basic version of the game to run.
We play - according to our choice - the heroine or hero of the basic version of the game. After destroying the ship of the artificial intelligence - FAI, we are transported to a rift-torn supernatural dimension, where nothing looks or behaves as it should. Navigating this dangerous environment and facing numerous enemies not from this world, we must find the five lost shards of the ship to get ourselves and FAI out of here.
The fundamentals of gameplay are not significantly different from the basic version of the game: we have to fight hand-to-hand and with ranged weapons against a wide variety of enemies. Also of great importance is the ability to sneak and remain unnoticed, in addition to which dexterity and proficiency in solving environmental puzzles are useful. We will encounter new types of opponents, including blue and red shrapnel, for defeating which it is necessary to select ammunition of the appropriate color.
Failures force us to start the game from the beginning, but when re-exploring individual rifts we gain new equipment and skills each time. In addition, we discover shortcuts that allow us to move faster through locations and find previously inaccessible spots with hidden gadgets.
In Lost Between Worlds we can play alone or in online co-op with a friend.
