An expansion to the agricultural sim game Farming Simulator 22. In Farming Simulator 22: Platinum Expansion we get more than 40 new machines at our disposal, as well as a previously unavailable map - Silverrun Forest.
Platinum Expansion is the title of the expansion for the simulation game released in 2021 under the title Farming Simulator 22. It was developed and released by the authors of the basic game, GIANTS Software studio.
The first major novelty introduced in Farming Simulator 22: Platinum Expansion is more than 40 previously unavailable machines. First among them are Volvo products, which score their debut in the Farming Simulator series. In addition, previously unavailable works from manufacturers such as IMPEX, John Deere, Komatsu, Koller, Pfanzelt and Schwarzmuller are waiting to be checked. Particularly noteworthy are the Volvo L200H High Lift wheel loader designed for forestry work and the John Deere FD55 feller-buncher machine.
The opportunity to test the latter is provided by a brand new map, which is the second major novelty introduced in the described add-on. Silverrun Forest, inspired by the Pacific Northwest coast, allows us to test ourselves in forestry missions, involving felling and planting trees (which can be marked beforehand with spray). In addition, we can use the harvested wood to build our own shipyard and construct boats.
Farming Simulator 22: Platinum Expansion is a non-standalone expansion, so it requires the basic version of the game to work. Add-on can be purchased separately, but the Farming Simulator 22: Platinum Edition bundle, containing both the add-on and the "base" game, has also gone on sale.
