Plot

The action of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star takes place after events from Fate/EXTRA. Once the previous Holy Grail war is over, the world is in hands of a supercomputer called Moon Cell Automaton. Players go to a digital kingdom called SE.RA.PH., where they have to fight for freedom.

Among them there are: Nero Claudius, Tamamo no Mae, Altera, No Name, Gilgamesh, Artoria, Elizabeth Bathory, Jeanne d'Arc, and more. The mentioned characters have potent, devastating powers that can be used during combat with tens, or even hundreds of opponents at the same time. In their ranks there are heroes seen in the former instalments of the Fate series – Dynasty Warriors series to mind.
