"FBI: Hostage Rescue", as the title of the product indicates, allows the player to play the role of a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, which is part of the team dealing with the most risky tasks.
Deployed to any location at any time - if there are innocent lives at stake, you will be there. You are a member of a highly trained team to handle negotiations, mobile assaults, high-risk arrests, and manhunt operations. You must rely on your training to help you make the tough calls and split-second decisions that can mean life or death for you and the hostages.
Utilize a huge arsenal of sophisticated equipment at your disposal to secure the area. Cut power lines, use smoke grenades to force the hostage takers out of their hiding places or use your stealth to gain the advantage of a surprise attack. You must use all of your abilities to diffuse the situation before it goes horribly wrong.
