Rajas and Tribes is a DLC for the turn-based grand strategy game titled Field of Glory: Kingdoms. In addition to two new scenarios, it introduces faction mechanics and expands the map. The development of the expansion was handled by the studio AGEod, known from the base version.

New features in the expansion

Field of Glory: Kingdoms - Rajas and Tribes significantly expands the area of strategic actions, reaching deep into the Indian subcontinent and the heart of Africa. We can now command Christian Ethiopia, the Rajput kingdoms, and the monarchy of Ghana, each of which offers new management opportunities.

Thanks to the extended timeline covering the years 1054-1270, nations can develop their influence on historical trade routes, such as the Silk Road, shaping the course of history through trade, diplomacy and conquests.

The add-on also introduces a special mechanic for tribal and nomadic civilizations. These factions gain heritage points through large trade networks or powerful war campaigns, offering alternative styles of gameplay compared to traditional feudal kingdoms. Nomadic tribes have their own unique non-standard buildings, war goals and economic systems.

Rajas and Tribes offers two new historical scenarios. In the first scenario, we take command of Alexander Nevsky and defend Russia against the relentless attacks of the Swedes and Teutonic Knights. The second campaign concerns the conflict between the Ghibellines and the Guelphs.
