Field & Stream: Total Outdoorsman Challenge is a proposal of the Romanian development team beast Studios and 505 Games, addressed to fans of virtual hunting. The game has been designed as a combination of simulation and dexterity elements.

According to the rule of this type of game, the player takes on the role of a hunter and, equipped with a distance weapon and a number of hunting accessories, sets off on a hunting trip. Virtual barrows are modelled on American fishing grounds, and thus you can come across such animals as deer, bears, pumas, wolves, rabbits, pheasants and many others.

The game offers three gameplay variants. Practice (training) allows you to master the basic skills related to the use of weapons by shooting at darts. Free hunt is a hunt without strict objectives and restrictions. The most complex and realistic is Ultimate Hunt mode, where the player is faced with a series of more than 30 hunting challenges, and the additional difficulty is various restrictions (e.g. some species of animals can only be killed with the right kind of weapon). The single-player game is complemented by an option to compete against a live opponent via the Internet.
