Release Date: December 14, 2017
Developed by Freebird Games, an adventure game being a continuation of the studio’s previous productions – To the Moon and A Bird Story. Finding Paradise narrates a completely new story, although the knowledge of the aforementioned titles makes playing more enjoyable. Once again, there are two doctors who travel into a patient’s mind using futuristic technology, in order to discover his biggest wish and fulfill it before he es away.
Finding Paradise for PC is an adventure title that serves as the continuation of To the Moon published in 2011. Both productions were developed by Freebird Games.
The game offers a standalone story, so you do not need to know the original title. Once more, there are two doctors who, with the use of futuristic technology, travel into their patient’s mind in order to discover his biggest wish and fulfil it before he es away.
This time it is Colin who is on his deathbed – as a child, he was the hero of A Bird Story from 2014. The knowledge of the production makes it more enjoyable, but the knowledge of the prequel isn’t mandatory.
The gameplay mechanics are almost identical to those in To the Moon. Primarily, you explore the world, chat with NPCs, and look for orbs that symbolise Colin’s memories. Gameplay is complemented with occasional puzzles and mini games, but the title still puts emphasis on telling an interesting story.
The title draws inspiration from 16 and 32-bit Japanese role-playing games. The soundtrack is composed by Kan Gao – the man responsible for music in To the Moon and A Bird Story.

Cyberpunk 2077, Mass Effect, Fallen Order – these are games that almost anyone knows at least by reputation. But even if you're not a fan of the genre, some of the more obscure SF productions may steal your heart (and a few evenings).
To the Moon is getting a sequel entitled Finding Paradise. Similarly to its predecessor, this is going to be a retro action-adventure game with emphasis on an emotional story. The title is coming out in late 2016 or early 2017.

Game Ratings for Finding Paradise Video Game.
Nintendo Life: 8 / 10 by PJ O'Reilly
Finding Paradise is a worthy successor to the superlative To The Moon. This second adventure in the series may not quite manage to hit the emotional highs of its predecessor, but there's still a complex, engaging, thoughtful, and wonderfully well-told story to sink your teeth into here in a game that will linger long in the memory once you're done with it. RPG Maker XP does cause a few little niggles with traversal and transitions between scenes, but these are minuscule issues that are well worth putting up with for the fun you'll have with the core narrative over its five-hour running time.
RPG Fan: 93 / 100 by Bob Richardson
Thanks to what Freebird Games has created, I don't have to wait to go to the moon to find paradise.
Dragnix: 90 / 100 by Shaun Joy
You'll feel emotions in this follow up To The Moon, and Freebird games keeps the storytelling quality extremely high. Basically, you won't like this if you don't have a soul. Other then that: a must buy.
