The fifth installment of car races in which the player can drive Ford cars. In addition, the program contains an extensive database of specific models produced until 1994.
The program is divided into two parts. The first of them has a typical informational function, in which we can see photos of 31 cars produced by Ford until 1994. In addition to photos, the player has the opportunity to take a closer look at the parameters of specific vehicles and paint them according to his own vision. This last option allows you to see how the car will look like in our favorite color.
The second part is purely interactive. It allows you to try out one of the models on an improvised route to Lake Wakatonka. Cars for driving are divided into two groups: manual (Ford Escort GT, Ford Mustang GT and Ford Thunderbird SC) and automatic transmission (Ford Probe GT, Ford Taurus SHO, Mercury Cougar XR7 and Lincoln Mark VIII). All cars on the road behave very similarly, they differ only in of acceleration and maximum speed. The route to the especially complicated should not be complicated, it is enough to stick to the information given in real time (maximum speed and level of cornering difficulty) and watch out for other road s to it without any problems. However, if you don't know how to get to your destination, you can buy a map at the petrol station.
The whole thing brings the right associations with the first two games of the Test Drive series. The differences consist only in the introduction of an extensive database of cars, which may undoubtedly be useful to motorization fans.
