Plot
The story begins in a mysterious city, where, following the queen's death, music was forbidden. Not everyone, however, is willing to accept it. You play as Prince Shabaz, who wants to play a certain magical instrument. Unfortunately, its strings are broken and the prince embarks on a dangerous journey to faraway lands in search for new ones. The game is heavily influenced by Persian mythology.
Mechanics
Forgotten Sound is a classic adventure game. The gameplay focuses on exploration, talking to NPCs, gathering items, and solving puzzles. You do not need much manual skill to complete the game — all you need is to be clever and patient.
Technical aspects
The game's visuals are a blend of 2D backgrounds and 3D characters, a technique popular in the adventure game genre.
