Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust is an expansion to the action adventure game Forspoken, as well as a prequel to the main game's events. It was developed by Luminous, the creators of the base game, on behalf of Square Enix.
The main protagonist of Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust is, once again, Frey, a teenager trying her best to deal with the plague known as The Break. Following a mysterious voice, she's somehow transported 25 years into the past. It was the time of the great battle that devastated all of Athia and drove the reigning Tantas mad. Frey must discover the truth about these events to save the land and herself.
In Tanta We Trust doesn't change the game's base mechanics too much. In addition to a new storyline and quests, it introduces new magical abilities and parkour moves, which come in handy when traversing the expansion's bizarre "horizontal" locations.
It also introduces combination attacks Frey can execute alongside her companion, Tanta Cinta.
In Tanta We Trust is not a standalone expansion, and thus it requires the base version of Forspoken to function.
