Full Fathom is a first-person perspective survival horror. We control a decaying submarine, trying to maintain it in decent shape and to avoid being lunch for the hostile sea creatures. Our goal is to travel through the flooded ruins and return to civilization.

Full Fathom is a survival horror project from the three-person studio DAEMON House, in which we pilot a decaying submarine and deal with threats both from lack of food and from sea creatures.

Story

In Full Fathom we go back to the 1990s. We control a loner fighting for survival in the depths of an endless ocean. Among the thalassophobic spaces, a dilapidated submarine turns out to be our lifeline.

Gameplay

Full Fathom combines exploratory survival with a horror atmosphere. Having limited supplies of food, provisions, and equipment, we are making our way through regions of flooded ruins, inhabited by sea creatures and overgrown flora. Being away from the ship, we store goods in a hermetic chest.

To stay alive in adverse conditions, we need to maintain the submarine. Various onboard systems are crucial for navigating the abyss, but they too are slowly breaking down. We use sonar to observe the surroundings and a navigation console to plot the route. To defend ourselves against dangerous fauna we use turrets. At the same time, we remain vigilant so as not to become food for sea creatures or not to drown.

Graphics

Full Fathom features simple 3D graphics. We look at the world from a first-person perspective through an old camera, which justifies the grain effect used by the creators.
