Garbage Truck Simulator 2011 is the next installment of the series showing the daily work of the garbage truck crew. The actual gameplay is divided into several basic stages. The first is always to get to the next place of collection of death. The game enforces action based on the assigned graphics, and the GPS system is used to navigate the city. A very important feature of the game is the need to comply with the applicable traffic regulations (driving on the right lane, keeping the speed limit, etc.), the violation of which is severely punished. Once you have reached your destination, park your garbage truck in the right place and start loading the garbage. The player can play any garbage trucker, not only as a truck driver. After visiting all checkpoints, the garbage truck must reach the place of unloading.

The described production has a simple economic model. Performing subsequent tasks and wrapping the garbage truck with ments allows you to collect valuable cash. The money can be spent not only on making improvements to the truck or replacing the model with another one (five garbage trucks to choose from), but also on purchasing more vehicles that are already fully controlled by artificial intelligence. This will, of course, lead to the further development of the cleaning company. As time goes by, the types of rubbish collected also change a little, as, in addition to standard homes, factories are also visited, among other things, to collect toxic waste.

The visual design of the game has been improved compared to last year's edition. In particular, the manufacturer has placed great emphasis on building a vast and varied area of operation. In addition to the numerous urban areas, these include ring roads and motorway sections, thanks to which it is possible to reach the designated areas more quickly and more easily. The interiors of the garbage trucks, which can be slightly modified, have also been made nicer. Thanks to an advanced model of damage, any breakage with other cars or elements of the environment leaves visible traces on the body of the controlled garbage truck.
