Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a sequel to the tactical RPG game titled Girls' Frontline, released in 2016 in China and worldwide in 2017-2018. It allows us to lead a squad of the titular "girls" fighting on the front line. The game was developed by Sunborn Information studio and is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Story

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium takes us to a post-apocalyptic universe. During the game, we take on the role of a commander who ended his military career to start a new one as a bounty hunter. During one of the routine missions, the protagonist falls victim to an attack, which entangles him in a large-scale intrigue.

However, the hero is not doomed to a solitary adventure, as he is accompanied by a squad of so-called Tactical Dolls (or T-Dolls). They are combat androids that look like young girls.

Gameplay

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is divided into missions, during which we watch the action in an isometric view. In addition to carrying out the missions assigned to us, we engage in turn-based battles with enemy forces.

T-Dolls

The game provides us with androids that vary in of characteristics, strengths and weaknesses, and combat abilities (ive and active), which in turn determines their fighting style. All of this is reflected in the classes of our subordinates. While Sentinel is a basic and universal unit, Bulwark is an armored android, was equipped with the ability to heal and strengthen allies, and the Vanguard is characterized by high mobility.

We must demonstrate tactical sense when commanding a unit, skillfully utilizing the abilities of its . Their placement on the battlefield also plays an important role, which should take into the terrain or available cover.

Character development and arsenal

As we progress, we develop individual T-Dolls. Moreover, their combat potential can increase due to an ever-improving arsenal. Our subordinates use a wide range of weapons, which includes pistols, shotguns, and machine guns. The game allows us to closely examine each piece of hardware and adjust it to individual needs and preferences.

Relations with subordinates

As we progress, we can build our relationships with individual androids, including by giving them gifts. Thanks to this, over time we gain access to various bonuses, led by archives and their memories.

The game has also implemented a fitting room that allows for the modification of the appearance of T-Dolls, as well as a dormitory that allows us to observe their life away from the battlefield.
