Release Date: September 6, 2010
The third installment of a series of dynamic racing games for having nothing to do with driving realism and fair play. We sit behind the wheel of well-armed vehicles and take part in competitions in which not only speed counts, but also an accurate eye and a reliable finger on the trigger.
Glacier 3: The Meltdown, released on Wii and PC, is the third installment of the Team6 Game Studios' racing game series, in which victory is determined not only by speed but also by the skillful use of weapons.
Compared to the previous versions of the series, Glacier 3: The Meltdown is much more extensive in of content. Besides the existing 18 tracks, the developers have added new difficult tracks along the mountain peaks. The number of weapons has also been increased and diversified which now go far beyond the standard rifles, rockets, mines, and oil stains.
The gameplay in Glacier 3: The Meltdown is done in arcade style. What matters the most is explosions and vehicles driving at high speed. Glacier 3: The Meltdown does not try to simulate reality at all, offering backbreaking routes and giving cars almost unlimited possibilities.
The advantage of the third part of the game is the multiplayer mode, which allows you to compete online. The graphics have improved significantly since the previous release, which is particularly evident in the constant and high framerate and the detail of the routes.
