Mechanics

Godfall: Fire & Darkness brings a number of new story missions and cutscenes presenting the new story. Besides, the add-on introduces previously unavailable locations such as obsidian peaks or magma fields, five previously unseen bosses and ten additional enemies. In addition, twenty armor skins were prepared for the expansion.

The free update, along with which the described DLC appeared, introduces a new game mode. In Lightbringer mode we face three waves of enemies. Between each battle we choose curses, which weaken our character, but make that when we manage to achieve victory, better rewards will be waiting for us. In addition, the update introduces forty new items to obtain, and also allows us to test the matchmaking system.

Technical aspects

Fire & Darkness does not introduce changes in the audiovisual layer of the basic version of Godfall. It is not a stand-alone add-on, so it requires a main game to work.
