The action begins in an alternative past, at the turn of the years 1300-1400, when, as a result of a great disaster, one cohesive continent was divided by the waters of the seas and oceans into a number of smaller islands. As a result of these events, humanity divided into three main factions (the first, so-called "conventional", similar to our normal human civilization, using familiar methods of fighting; the second, genetically mutated and using biological-genetic weapons in combat; the third, characterized by the greatest technological advancement.), which plunged into a great war aimed at conquering the title machine V.O.T.E.R. Golem (which can merge all islands) and taking control of the whole planet. We can take command of one of them and lead it to victory.

Each faction has a different campaign consisting of missions with different goals, such as: finding a part of the V.O.T.E.R. Golem machine, getting a specific place (e.g. a port), etc. The campaign is based on the following objectives: finding a part of the V.O.T.E.R.
