The fathers of the Grand Theft Auto series are David Jones and Mike Dailly and the DMA Design studio. The publishing rights to the franchise are owned by Take-Two Interactive, and its development is handled by Rockstar Games.
At the request of Take-Two, more mods for the GTA series began to disappear from the web. Their selection suggests that remasters of Grand Theft Auto 4 and GTA Advance may be in the plans.
