Grimmwood: They Come at Night

EVE Online: Into the Abyss for {PLAT} is an expansion pack to the very popular hybrid of a sandbox MMO and a space simulator – EVE Online. The title enables the players to explore a completely new piece of the galaxy and to compete over a technology that can shape the future. The expansion, similarly to the basic game, was developed by C Games.

Mechanics

The basic gameplay principles remain the same in the Into the Abyss expansion pack. It is still an advanced spaceship simulator and a grand MMO sandbox in which the galaxy is shaped almost exclusively by decisions and actions of the players. Mutaplasmids are the central theme of the expansion – the players are fighting over them with other players and with artificial intelligence. They can be obtained only in the Abyss. Because of that, the players are tasked with dealing with challenges and with safely delivering cargo to their allies. Mutaplasmids can be combined with existing modules, greatly increasing their power and providing an advantage on the battlefield. Sadly, the items can be also irreversibly destroyed.
