A first game in a new sport series that can be considered a continuation to the IHF Handball Challenge series developed by Neutron Games – a part of Bigben Interactive. This time the game was created by How to Survive studio. In Handball 16 you can play with one of the 62 teams belonging to the strongest European leagues from , , Spain, or Denmark. The game includes real licensed clubs, featuring real players.
Handball 16 for PC, X360 and etc. is a sport simulation being the first in the new series of games devoted to handball. Developed by Bigben Interactive, Handball 16 developed by EKO Software famed for IHF Handball Challenge released by the same distributor, but created by a different studio.
Published on PC, X360 and etc., Handball 16 offers you leading one of 62 club teams from the biggest European leagues, like Ligue Nationale de Handball (), DKB Handball Bundesliga (), Liga Asobal (Spain) or Boxer Herreligaen (Denmark). As the game features licenses of official clubs, there are real players with their specific qualities, official kits and statistics of the 2015-2016 season. Unlike the prior installments, Handball 16 does not put too much emphasis on management elements, and instead concentrates on simulating the tactics – an extremely important aspect of handball. The developers implemented around 30 offensive and defensive tactics, so even if you are not an expert at handball, you should find a style that will satisfy your needs.
Handball 16 offers three different, single-player modes. You can confront AI in a single match, play a full season in a chosen country or create your own player and take him to the top of the sports career ladder. There also is a multiplayer featuring 1-on-1 online matches.
The simulator for PC, X360 and etc. does not feature such advanced rendering engines like those in e.g. NBA 2K. However, the production by EKO Software, especially on PC and 8th generation video game consoles, presents a high graphics and physics level. Handball fans will surely feel at home, as the game includes such characteristic moves like the spin shot, hip shot, fake, dodge etc. Gameplay is seasoned with professional commentary provided by handball experts.
