A spin-off of the music/rhythm game franchise, developed by Crypton Future Media. Unlike the previous installments, Hatsune Miku VR was produced for VR headgear and dedicated motion controllers, which required implementing changes in the gameplay.
Hatsune Miku VR is a spin-off of the popular rhythm game franchise, which started in 2009. The production was developed for VR headgear by Crypton Future Media and published by Degica.
Like the previous Hatsune Miku games, Hatsune Miku VR features an interactive music video. However, you don't push certain buttons at the right moment, but target notes with the motion controller, which is how you make the protagonist dance. To succeed, you need a good sense of rhythm. There are two difficulty levels to choose from, varying mostly in of speed needed to perform the moves. The game features eight songs on the release day, but new ones have been added since then.
Hatsune Miku VR requires not only VR headgear, but also dedicated motion controllers. The game features high-quality visuals in manga style, characteristic for the whole series.
