Hearthstone: Blackrock Mountain

Blackrock Mountain is another big expansion for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, an online card game set in the Warcraft universe created by Blizzard Entertainment. The add-on was also developed by the Blizzard studio. It refers to the eponymous location, Blackrock Mountain, known from World of Warcraft.

The expansion is divided into 5 chapters (so-called “wings”). Each of those unlocks access to new bosses which are 17 in Blackrock Mountain in addition to 31 new cards. The latter are received by defeating opponents. Apart from that, the add-on brings 9 new class challenges connected to specific kinds of characters. Their completion is awarded with previously unavailable class cards. Blackrock Mountain also offers the heroic mode which is unlocked once all bosses of a given chapter have been defeated. The battles in heroic mode are much more difficult but definitely worth winning. Successful completion of heroic mode is awarded with a new reverse for your deck. All the battles of Blackrock Mountain are fought on a completely new board.
