Nineteenth add-on to the Hearthstone card game from Blizzard Entertainment. The DLC introduces cards thematically linked to Scholomance Academy, a school of magic founded by the famous Kel'Thuzad. The expansion introduces 135 new cards and several mechanics.
Hearthstone: Scholomance Academy is another add-on to the Hearthstone card game. The expansion adds 135 new cards and is thematically and feature-linked with one of the locations known from MMO World of Warcraft - the academy of magic founded by Kel'Thuzad. Blizzard Entertainment is responsible for creating and publishing this add-on.
Scholomance is a magic school founded by Kel'Thuzad - one of the leaders of the Plague and major characters in Warcraft III: Reforged). It was a place where the famous necromancer trained his henchmen to use dark magic.
Hearthstone: Scholomance Academyintroduces 135 new cards as well as three mechanics. The first one is double specializations - the game has 40 Dual-Class Cards that uniquely combine the advantages of two different specializations.
The second novelty is the keyword "Spellburst" - the parties with this principle have an ability that activates once when we cast a spell. Thanks to this, seemingly weak units can prove surprisingly dangerous for our rival.
The third mechanics introduced in this expansion is a new type of spells - Studies cards. They allow you to discover a card of a particular kind (e.g. a spell or a demon) and reduce the cost of playing another similar card.
DLC Hearthstone: Scholomance Academy is not introducing any new gameplay modes. The core of the game is still an online multiplayer mode.
Hearthstone: Scholomance Academy does not change the graphic design of the game. We get a lot of new pictures on cards for that.
