Hearthstone: The Grand Tournament for PC, AND and iOS is another paid expansion for the Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, which is an extremely popular digital collectible card game set in the universe of the already cult Warcraft series. Title for was developed by creators of the base game – the Blizzard Entertainment company.
Plot
This time gameplay revolves around the titular knights' tournament, a festival that was once launched by of the Argent Crusade for the bravest knights of Azeroth.
Mechanics
Expansion features, among others, 132 additional cards, thanks to which players get new weapons, spells (eg. Lock and Load) and additional minions (eg. Maiden of the Lake, Chillmaw or Frost Giant). Gameplay was also enriched by an entirely new mechanics – so-called inspiration. If , during the game, there is a minion with that ability on the battlefield, using the Hero Power will trigger one of the available effects, eg. Lowly Squire card will increase attack by one, and Nexus-Champion Saraad will add a random spell to player's hand. Hearthstone: The Grand Tournament for PC, AND and iOS introduces also a new, enriched with additional objects, battlefield, as well as additional rewards available in the Arena. Developers implemented also a new card back. Importantly, expansion can be bought through the store present in the game itself – for real money or for the currency of Hearthstone.
