Heimdall is an action/adventure game that allows you to play the role of the title warrior, delegated to fight the demon of destruction, Lokim. Three powerful weapons disappeared from Asgard: Thor's hammer, Frey's spear and Odin's sword. Heimdall, having been good for the expedition of his faithful companions, has to visit three huge worlds in which powerful artifacts have been hidden and, of course, regain them.

Heimdall, having been good for the expedition of his faithful companions, has to visit three huge worlds in which powerful artifacts have been hidden and, of course, regain them.
The game starts with three mini-games, the success of which depends on how high attributes Heimdall will have and which companions he will be able to take with him. ittedly, you can rely on the grace or disfavor of fate, but it is better not to do it, because our team will be very average. Competitions are based on: Cutting the braids of a white-headed pig, catching an oil-lubricated piggy and defeating enemies on a boat. If all of the struggles are completed successfully, thirty companions will be given away to choose from among which we will compose the team. The worse the score, the less of them will be.
The selection of participants of the expedition starts the right game. Using a boat we will move between the islands located in the world, making sure that the companions do not die of hunger. After landing in any of the lands, we begin its exploration, which is presented in isometric view. We can change the current hero at any time, which of course is very important for the game. All of the islands contain a huge number of chambers, the age of which will help us to determine the location of one of the weapons sought. If we manage to conquer it, we move to the world and we start exploring it from the very beginning. Heimdall is an extremely complex product, which is difficult to classify unambiguously. There are many aspects typical for arcade games, adventures and even RPG games. It is very exciting, but undoubtedly tedious, to travel through new lands.
Heimdall is a game for people in love with Germanic mythology and having a huge amount of free time. Nice graphics and not inferior sound effects can catch up with the computer for a long time. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best products of the early 1990s and if someone does not fear the huge challenge that Heimdall will pose to him, he will be satisfied after with the game.
