Heimspiel: Eishockeymanager 2007 is an extensive ice hockey manager served by our western neighbours of Greencode Software GmbH. We play the role of the coach of one of the hockey teams (to choose the league of the world's top hockey countries, including of course the American NHL and the German Deutsche Eishockey-Liga DEL) and we direct its fate in the fight for the championship.

One of our most important duties as a trainer is certainly to conduct a prudent, accurate personnel and tactical policy. Without a thorough knowledge of the skills of our hockey players and without proper match preparation, we will not be able to achieve the expected successes. Every player who likes the numerous tables, charts and other statistical tools should find a solid portion of entertainment for many weeks in the Eishockeymanager 2007. The economic aspect also plays an extremely important role in the game - increasing the victory bonus in a measurable way will strengthen the motivation of our team's players, making it easier to get a good result. However, if our team consists of a bunch of undisciplined amateurs, a comprehensive training system comes into succour, which, with a bit of luck and coach's intuition, will efficiently transform even the most difficult task into a trained and effective player - after all, everything is a matter of time and patience.

Running a hockey team inevitably entails significant costs, of course, as the players will not play for us for free. The potential manager is therefore useful to be able to properly manage the expansion of the stadium and accompanying facilities. Ice hockey enthusiasts hit beautiful and modern facilities with whole families watching the matches of their favourite team, which of course has an impact on ticket revenues. Achieving good results in the league and cups also attracts wealthy sponsors, who are willing to pump large amounts of money into our club box office in return for providing advertising space on outfits and/or stadiums. What's more, if our team is in the top positions for a long time, we can count on various types of job offers.

The authors put a lot of effort into developing the match simulation. As a coach we have the privilege (and duty) of course to watch each of our matches live, as if by the way, these are also the most exciting moments of training work, both in reality and in Heimspiel: Eishockeymanager 2007 - in the latter mainly due to the modern and detailed visualization of the match in full three-dimensional. At all times, of course, we have the possibility of influencing the meeting directly, through various tactical manoeuvres and, if necessary, changes. Victory is not easy, but it is worth mentioning the multi-level difficulty level, which theoretically guarantees good entertainment for players of all levels of sophistication - from complete novices, through serial hockey enthusiasts, to old hockey players.
