Helicopter: Natural Disasters for PC is an unusual simulation that gives the players control over a rescue helicopter. The game was developed by PlayWay, a studio known from similar titles, including Professional Lumberjack 2015, or FarmFix Simulator 2015.
Plot
The game lacks any storyline or even a rudimentary plot, offering us the ability to take control of rescue helicopters that take part in numerous rescue missions. In all, we are left with 30 different assignments that consist of various less-complicated tasks. As an observant person might infer by the title, the players will be facing natural disasters, including great fires or earthquakes.
Mechanics
The background is a large world spanning over 100 square kilometers; the individual missions see us travel to different areas found on its surface. A realistic physics engine powers the game. It governs the behavior of our machine, as well as the weight of transported victims, objects, or changing weather conditions.
As a rescue pilot, the player is left with five helicopters that fill different needs and have unique functionalities.
