Hero Academy 2 is a title blending strategy and card games. You control a group of heroes and fight enemies controlled by either the AI or another player. The combat is turn-based and the production utilizes an isometric view.
Hero Academy 2 for PC, AND and iOS is a hybrid production, in which you participate in real-time matches on 2D maps utilizing an isometric view, with a strategy element involving cards. The production was developed by RobotEntertainment.
In Hero Academy 2 for PC, AND and iOS you participate in tactical battles on maps divided into square fields, observed form an isometric perspective. The combat is turn-based.
Your choice of available characters (each of them has their own attack, health, and armor values), moves and abilities depends on the cards you have. You gather them by opening chests, which are given for e.g. leveling up or winning battles (they can also be bought in the in-game store). You can also craft cards using a special system utilizing crystals that you gain by e.g. logging in everyday. There are hundreds of various cards in Hero Academy 2, and new ones are added in updates.
Playing cards requires energy, gradually regenerates over time. Each round gives you 5 energy points.
Hero Academy 2 for PC, AND and iOS features both an expansive multiplayer mode and a singleplayer mode consisting of campaigns and challenges.
The production features 3D visuals with a simple graphic style and intense colors. The characters design resembles those from comic books or animated movies.
