Horizon Chase 2 is an arcade racing game, which includes many features typical of the genre, such as nitro and accelerating spots. The game was developed and published by Aquiris Game Studio.
Horizon Chase 2 is an arcade racing game, sequel to Horizon Chase and its enhanced version for PC and consoles - Horizon Chase Turbo. It was developed and published, as in the case of earlier installments of the series, by Aquiris Game Studio.
The action is observed from a camera placed behind the car. The gameplay is based on completing routes as quickly as possible, which is varied by solutions typical of the genre, such as nitro, accelerating fields or splitting roads.
At the start we have access to 55 routes in 5 countries around the world and can unlock 10 cars. Each car can be upgraded to improve its statistics, as well as personalized after acquiring the right parts.
We have a choice of different game modes (e.g. Playground, which offers various arcade challenges, or Tournament giving the opportunity to compete in modified races) and in each of them we can play solo or together with friends. There is also no shortage of options to compete with others over the network.
Game is distinguished by its graphic style - three-dimensional, but referring to 16-bit two-dimensional racing games. In this installment of the series it looks more modern, while still maintaining the original atmosphere.

Game Ratings for Horizon Chase 2 Video Game.
NintendoWorldReport: 8 / 10 by Zachary Miller
Horizon Chase 2 is a great game, but it's quite the masterpiece that its predecessor was. That said, this is a no brainer if you loved the arcade racing goodness of Horizon Chase Turbo, because that part, at least, has not been modified in this sequel.
GameSpew: 8 / 10 by Richard Seagrave
You could argue that Horizon Chase 2 plays things safe, but when what’s on offer is this much fun, does it really matter? Developer Aquiris may have stuck to its tried and tested formula, but with a bold new visual style and improved gameplay across the board, there’s enough here to make the experience feel fresh. And whether you like to race alone against the U or online against others, there’s something for you here. For arcade racing game fans eager for something new to test their skills with, this is very highly recommended.

Horizon Chase 2 couldn’t turn out any better than it has, and it’s a good thing that it’s finally hitting more consoles since it’ll give more players a chance to see what all the fuss is about. If you are of the sort that enjoys casual but at the same time intense arcade experiences, this is a game you shouldn’t go without, regardless of the platform you choose to play it on.
