Humanity is a combination of a puzzle and arcade game, tasking us with controlling hordes of people at once. The game, somewhat reminiscent of the iconic Rez Infinite, and the company Tha.
Humanity is set at the edge of the world, serving as a prison of sorts of those who have lost their sense of purpose. We play as a Shiba Inu, leading the crowds towards the pillars of light, their last chance of salvation. The task is not simple, as our people will encounter many dangers, including the hostile Others; though there is still a chance to peacefully resolve the conflict between them.
Humanity makes use of the top-down perspective. We directly control the dog, giving the crowd simple commands. By barking, we order then to jump (often against the laws of physics), turn, climb, shoot or fight. Over the course of more than 90 abstract stages, we must avoid obstacles, traps, threats and deal with enemies. The player must exhibit good planning, reflexes and agility to succeed. As for the enemies - aside from hostile groups we'll also encounter bosses, defeating which requires us to uncover their weak points.
The game includes a creator, used to create your own maps, puzzles and scenes. Our work can then be shared with the community.
Humanity makes use of a low poly artstyle. The graphics are simple, but colorful and appealing, the sheer density of controllable crowds being especially impressive. The game s VR, though it is not required.

Game Ratings for Humanity Video Game.
Screen Rant: 4.5 / 5 by Jacob Zeranko
Humanity builds on the theme of collective humanity in a number of other ways. The first is with its cross-platform Stage Creator that, like the building system in Meet Your Maker or Halo's forge mode, is a versatile and polished system that allows players to create and share custom stages to challenge other players. The second way is through the game's score, which uses human voices as a choir and as other instruments through clever sound design and modulation. In the end, Humanity is a phenomenal debut title that finds new and creative ways to shake up the puzzle platformer genre, and with it being free on day 1 for PlayStation Plus Extra and subscribers, there's no reason to skip over this must-play title.
TheSixthAxis: 8 / 10 by Tuffcub
A pleasantly stress free puzzle game with a weird story and boss battles to boot. The level editor ensures there will always be something new to tax your brain, and it's a good addition to the PSVR 2 library as well.
IGN: 9 / 10 by Gabriel Moss
Humanity is a beautiful, modern reimagining of Lemmings that blends many different genres into its clever puzzles, and its powerful level editor has dizzying potential.
