Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, released on AND and iOS, is a 2D arcade logic game with adventure elements. In the production of Nitrome studio, we Vikings in their marine conquests. The developer became famous on the flash market, and after some time he started to do well on the mobile market, providing such games as Gunbrick, Platform Panic and Silly Sausage in Meat Land.
In Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, the player takes on the role of a bearded Viking who, together with a group of brothers and sisters, enters unknown waters, landing in a country controlled by trolls. Getting out of a dangerous area full of fancy traps and dangerous enemies requires cunning, dexterity and the ability to think logically.
The task of extracting the Vikings from the depths falls on the shoulders of the main character, who can cut through the icebergs and other materials susceptible to cutting. Thanks to the advanced physics engine, the game is a lot of fun.
The next levels - and there are about 150 of them - take the form of multistage puzzles. There is no shortage of complicated, constantly changing mechanisms, successfully refreshing the gameplay mechanics. From time to time, the player also fights with huge bosses. After completing a level, we can see a summary of our actions. There are also side-quests and hidden treasures which will increase our final ranking.
Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage surprises with the high quality of its 2D graphics - especially the great animations.
