The game focuses on very dynamic duels, in which the competitors race on straight sections of the road, and sit behind the wheel of extremely powerful cars, designed to achieve huge speeds in a short period. This edition does not introduce any revolutionary changes to the mechanics of the game. On the other hand, it offers several elements absent from previous parts of IHRA Drag Racing. The game was once again released by Bethesda Softworks, mainly known for the cult The Elder Scrolls series.
IHRA Drag Racing Sportsman Editionis fully licensed by IHRA Motorsports, a drag racing organization. This edition of the game offers a completely new class of races - IHRA Sportsman Series. It consists of twelve different types of competitions. Drivers sit at the helm of vehicles of many different classes, including Top Sportsman and Top Dragster. In the whole game, there are more than 60 different cars. At the same time, it is worth mentioning that they can be subject to various modifications. This production also has several other modes, such as Arcade or Multiplayer, where two racers take part in the race.
IHRA Sportsman also offers a fully fledged career mode in which we take part in a series of carefully planned races, as well as leading our team. In the latter case, you can primarily count on unlocking many interesting bonuses - new vehicles, better parts, or new tracks. The races are held at more than twenty sports facilities. Many of them should be well known to fans of drag races.
All versions of IHRA Drag Racing Sportsman Edition are very similar. The differences concern mainly the quality of the visuals of individual editions. IHRA Drag Racing Sportsman Edition's visuals have undergone a few important improvements, including the appearance of the vehicles and the venues where the next competition is held.
