One of the products from the Imagine series. We play the role of a guardian. In addition to taking care of children, we also take care of order at home and buy new items.
Babyz belongs to the Ubisoft’s game series Imagine. The common feature of all its installments is low complexity of gameplay, as well as the common target audience, i.e. young girls. This title lets you play as a babysitter. Similar theme was used in several other games released on Nintendo DS, e.g. Baby Pals from Crave Entertainment.
In the game you take care of a group of up to six children. Your duty is to take care of their basic needs. Therefore, you have to prepare special food, keep a high level of hygiene, and spend time with the kids. As for the latter, you can take the children for a walk or play with them in the yard. All these activities require you to perform specific actions, often with the use of the console’s touchscreen.
Apart from giving attention to children, you also have to keep the house you are working in clean and tidy. Most actions take a form of easy-to-learn mini-games. This way you vacuum the floor, paint the walls, and cultivate the lawn.
Successes are rewarded with money, which can be spent on new items of clothing for children, more interesting toys, or decorations for the house. Many of these objects are unlocked along with your progress in the game. Imagine Babyz sports relatively high quality level of visuals. You can ire nicely designed character models, while clear icons make it easy to navigate. The game uses the console’s both screens.
