In Verbis Virtus

In Verbis Virtus for PC is a unique FPP action-adventure game in which you have to pronounce spells in the ancient language of the Maha'ki gods, using a microphone. The game is the debut production of Italian studio Indomitus Games.

Mechanics

The game is set in a fantasy realm and you play as a beginner mage who, searching for an ancient power, finds a lost temple, which is both awe-inspiring and terrifying. At first the protagonist is completely harmless and to survive they have to find ancient texts containing magical formulas. By saying them correctly to the microphone you cast various spells, which are required to solve the puzzles in the game.

In Verbis Virtus blends adventure and action elements. When exploring the temple, you find plenty of puzzles, but also traps and monsters. You can handle all of them by using the spells you find as the game progresses, each of them having different power and application.
