A satirical point'n'click adventure from the Polish studio Artifex Mundi. As the first representative of the rotten West, we find ourselves in the communist Matryoshka and get to know the realities of life in a country ruled by communists.
Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love is a satirical 2D point'n'click adventure game. The Polish team Artifex Mundi, known mainly for My Brother Rabbit adventures, is responsible for its creation.
The action of Irony Curtain is set in an alternative Europe from the Cold War period. The main protagonist is a journalist who was chosen for a historic visit to Matroyshka, a tiny communist state with access to nuclear weapons. As the first representative of the West to visit this country, our character discovers the peculiarities of life on the eastern side of the Iron Curtain.
In of gameplay, Irony Curtain is a classic point'n'click adventure. This means that we have an extensive storyline, which we get to explore by visiting other locations, performing tasks and talking to independent characters. The production is further distinguished by a specific sense of humour, which seeks to ridicule the absurdities of communist reality.
The developers of Irony Curtain have created hand-drawn visuals in a comic book style, emphasizing the satirical character of the production.
