The next installment of the popular logical game, in which we deal with the elimination of jewels visible on the screen. In order to do this, we need to adapt them to each other.
Jewel Quest: Expeditions is another edition of the popular logical game, in a very clear reference to the principles of the cult Tetris. The main difference is that we do not match the falling blocks from the top of the screen, but the title gems, in an appropriate way changing them in places. This version for the Nintendo DS console was developed by iWin. In the past, this developer has released many other titles in the series, including Jewel Quest on Xbox 360 and Jewel Quest 2 on PC.
The general assumptions of the game practically did not change in relation to the original. Our role is limited to matching three jewels of the same colour. They must be next to each other (vertically or horizontally) so that they can disappear from the screen and turn into gold, which is tantamount to scoring points.
This version, designed for the Nintendo portable console, contains a total of around eighty game boards. They differ mainly in appearance. This, of course, has a remarkable impact on the course of the game. All subsequent movements should be carefully planned. At the same time, we are forced to comply with the top-down time limit. So it is rewarded to make quick decisions.
In addition to the classic single player modes Jewel Quest: Expeditions also includes a fully fledged multiplayer for up to four people. It is worth mentioning that a single copy of the game is enough to play. The necessary data is automatically sent to the other participants of the game. The gems can be moved using the crosshairs or the console touchscreen. Jewel Quest: Expeditions presents the typical level of workmanship for this type of production. The most beautiful were the backgrounds of individual boards and the effects accompanying the removal of jewels.
