Job Island is another work of Hudson Soft, responsible for the creation of Sports Island, among others. It was the warm reception of this thematically similar production that made the developers decided to change the title of the game, which originally sounded Hard Working People.

Those who are familiar with Sports Island should have no trouble finding their way into the reality of Job Island - the very concept of gameplay, i.e. giving us a series of funny mini games, has remained unchanged. This does not mean, however, that other players have nothing to look for here - the game is not too complicated, and its main task is to provide the recipient with relaxing entertainment.

Job Island offers a residual storyline layer - a swarm of huge meteors heading towards Earth, and the only hope to save the blue planet is of course you, the player. You and 50 different classes on the work island. These classes allow you to earn money, while these can be used to purchase equipment that will destroy meteors.
