Just Dance 2020 is the next installment in a popular series of dance games, in which we perform choreographies to the rhythm of pop music hits performed by the world's biggest celebrities. The game's developer is invariably the French publishing giant Ubisoft. The game was announced at E3 2019 and is a milestone in the history of the series because it was released as the game celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The gameplay formula in Just Dance 2020, which has proved its worth over the years, remains the same as in the previous installments of the series. At the beginning we choose one of the available songs. As it progresses, the screen will start to show movements that we need to follow to the rhythm of the music. The better we perform a given element in technical , the more points we get. To track the movements of players the title uses, depending on the hardware platform, a dedicated smartphone application or motion controllers. The aim of the participants is to achieve the highest possible result.
Just Dance 2020 offers a total of 40 tracks, including:
The title dynamically learns which songs we dance to most often and uses them to create personal playlists and suggest what other songs we might like. This system has been expanded and improved with respect to previous installments of the series.
If 40 songs is not enough for us, we can always use Just Dance Unlimited, a subscription service with a constantly growing number of songs, whose database contains several hundred songs. Just like Just Dance 2020, there is also a children's mode. It includes several choreographies created specifically by health development experts.
Apart from playing solo, we can also take part in t dance duels with friends, as well as in cooperative mode.
The visuals of Just Dance 2020 remain on the same level as in previous years. Players should expect a colorful and clear interface and a large gallery of eccentric dancers whose movements are played in the real world.
